We are a community of disciples grounded in the Good News of the Holy Bible. We invite you to join with us in celebrating and understanding God's gift of salvation from our sins and everlasting life. Crossway Christian Church is a member of the Evangelical Free Church of America.

Crossway Christian is not about religion. It’s about discipleship. To that end, we acknowledge four basic truths about God’s assurance of salvation for our sins.

First, God loves us. John 3:16 says “For God so loved the world he gave his one and only Son. That whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life!”

Second, our sin has separated us from God. “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” in Paul’s letter to the Roman believers (Romans 3:23) states our predicament firmly.

Third, Jesus Christ, God’s son and the only perfect sacrifice, died for our sins. Again, Paul tells believers in Rome “God demonstrates His own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8)

Finally, we must receive Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord. Jesus leaves no wriggle room for just acting good. Our sins need to be atoned by shedding of blood. Jesus did that for us and all of our sins on the cross. Only His sacrifice is perfect enough to wash us clean of sin. He affirms “I am the Way and the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the father EXCEPT THROUGH ME” (John 14:6)

Recommended Reading & Study:

Three chapters a day will get you through the Bible in a year!  There are a variety of schedules available, although many feel a chronological reading is very rewarding.

To get the most out of your bible reading, use a daily devotional guide such as one of the following favorites (links to book site). They help to keep you well focused.
